Ingredients

  • 1 cup chickpea flour (besan)

  • 1.5 cups water

  • 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste

  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder

  • 1-2 tsp salt

  • 1-2 tsp black pepper powder

  • 1 finely chopped green bell pepper

  • 1 finely chopped red onion

  • 1 finely chopped tomato

  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese or any other cheese

  • 2 tbsp tomato pizza sauce

  • 1 tsp chilli flakes

  • 1 tsp Italian herbs seasoning

Preparation

  1. Mix the chickpea flour, water, ginger garlic paste, salt, black pepper powder and red chilli powder well. Ensure there are no lumps of the flour. This is the batter for the pizza base.


  2. In a flat non-stick pan or regular pan (add 1tsp of oil and spread evenly), add 2-3 tbsp of the batter and spread evenly to make the circular base. Cover with a lid for 3-4 minutes on low-medium heat.


  3. Once the top is solid texture, add 1 tbsp of the pizza sauce and spread evenly. Spinkle in the chopped veggies, the grated cheese, chilli flakes and Italian herbs seasoning.


  4. Cover with a lid for 3-4 minutes on low-medium heat until the cheese melts.
